SOHO RIOTS 2020: THE MORNING AFTER

A quiet walk through boarded storefronts, burned cars, and emptied streets in the aftermath of the SoHo riots during the pandemic. These photographs reflect a suspended moment in New York City, where damage, silence, tension, and stillness existed side by side.

A DOCUMENTARY STUDY OF STILLNESS AFTER UNREST

This series was photographed in SoHo, New York City, in May 2020, during one of the most uncertain moments of the pandemic era. Rather than focusing on spectacle, the work looks at what remained the morning after: damaged streets, quiet architecture, abandoned objects, and the strange calm that followed a night of unrest.
